The Renewal Process

The Vitalize Peel has been clinically proven to minimize pigmentation problems (ex. age spots) by stimulating collagen production in the underlying skin cells. It is gentle enough to have a treatment every 3 weeks for maximum benefits and is a glowing, healthy start to your skin care regimen.

From as little as one peel, you'll notice...

  • A dramatic improvement in epidermal texture
  • A lessening of age spots, freckles and superficial pigmentation resulting from photodamaged skin
  • Reduction of enlarged pores

The Vitalize Peel incorporates Retinoic Acid (Vitamin A), Alpha Hydroxy Acids (fruit acids) with Resorcinol and other active cosmeceutical ingredients. It creates one of the safest and strongest half-hour chemical peels available.

A mild to moderate flaking occurs 2 to 3 days after the Vitalize Peel is performed and can be controlled with moisturizers. Many patients may receive a Vitalize Peel over their lunch hour.

The Vitalize Peel is performed by our licensed medical esthetician under physician supervision and can be repeated at 3 weeks for maximum benefits. It is an excellent way to jump-start your healthy skin care routine.

Chemical Peels • Glycolic Acid Peels • Lactic Acid Peels • Salicylic Peels

Skin Resurfacing Peels consist of lactic acid, natural salicylic acid and papaya enzyme. They may vary and are carefully accessed and chosen for your skin type and concerns.

Peels can be used to treat various skin problems with different application methods.

Lactic acid and Glycolic peels can...

  • Improve depressed pits
  • Improve deep wrinkles
  • Gently polish the skin surface
  • Diminishes scar, acne marks and stretch marks
  • To make a visible exfoliation and prompt fresh, new skin growth

Chemical Peel, after

Although our skin is able to replace old cells with new ones, over time this natural exfoliating process begins to slow down as we age.

With chemical peels, a solution of one or more exfoliating agents is applied on the face to remove the rough upper layer of skin and to stimulate rejuvenation of new skin cells. The result: tighter, smoother skin that is relatively free of lines and blemishes.

A resurfacing peel is recommended for diminishing fine wrinkles, age spots, sun damage and uneven pigmentation.

There are several types of chemical peel techniques:

  • light and medium peels are used to remove superficial wrinkles and discoloration
  • deep chemical peels are used to treat more severe conditions

Generally, the deeper the peel, the longer the recovery. After light peels, patients may return to their normal activities immediately and wear cosmetics to conceal the redness.

Following any skin peel, your new skin will be sensitive for several months, so you must use maximum sun protection containing micronized zinc oxide. Peels can be repeated as necessary to achieve and maintain desired results.
