Injectable Rhinoplasty Lip Augmentation Toronto

IPL Toronto, Tattoo Removal

Many patients would like improvement of the nose without going through surgery. An injectable rhinoplasty technique that takes about 15 minutes is an ideal solution.

If you have any of these concerns, you could be a candidate for injectable rhinoplasty:
  • Flat + Non-Projecting Nasal Dorsum
  • Asymmetrical Tip
  • Crooked Nose
  • Narrow Dorsum
  • Small Dorsal Hump

How Is It Done?

Dr. Ellis will inject the filler along the part of the nose which needs to be corrected with a tiny needle. The filler has local anesthetic built to minimize any discomfort. Patients do tolerated very well and find it not too uncomfortable. After the injection, Dr. Ellis will massage the filler so that it is in the exact spot to create the best possible result. This process will take approximately 15 minutes. Immediately after, there is usually minimal if any bruising. Any redness from the needle will disappear within an hour or can be covered with mineral makeup.

Types of Injectable Fillers:

Dr. Ellis prefers the Juvederm™ list of products such as Juvederm™ Ultra Plus with Lidocaine or Voluma™ with Lidocaine. Lidocaine is the anesthetic that is in the product that helps make the injectable filler less painful. In the cheeks Voluma™ is known to last two years before correction is needed and most of the patients prefer Voluma™ for their nasal injectable filler. If patients are new to fillers, the shorter lasting injectable filler called Juvederm™ Ultra Plus would be used. Dr. Ellis has reported his case study of 50 injectable rhinoplasties in which various fillers have been used in the past, but the Juvederm™ and Voluma™ are the most common.

Is it Safe?

In patients who have had no surgery, injectable fillers are very safe and with minimal risks. Risks increase with inexperienced injectors. Risks include vascular complications to the skin. In patients that have had previous rhinoplasty surgery, it is very important that the surgeon knows the change of anatomy from the surgery and be very careful with injections around the nasal tip.
