“Featherlift®” is
a new lunch-time cosmetic procedure that lifts the face
with threads. It was developed by Moscow based, Georgian
cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Marlen Sulamanidze.
Drooping is ptosis (pronounced tosis) and aptos is anti-droop
or anti-ptosis, hence the name Aptos®.
The threads leave no scars, are simple
to insert, have minimal down time, require no bandages,
and after care is usually applying ice as needed. This
procedure is ideal for younger and middle aged patients.
One treatment per area is usually all that is required
to achieve the desired results. The procedure takes approximately
30 minutes to an hour depending on the number of areas
being treated. The number of threads required is also
dependent on the number of areas being treated.
At this time there less than 250 surgeons
in North America trained in the FeatherLift® technique.

- No scars
- Minimal discomfort
- Quick recovery, patients may return
to work in less than a week
- Uniform gathering and even
lifting of the soft tissues for a new volumetric contour
