Dr.
Ellis, M.D., FRCSC, F.A.C.S. graduated from The University
of Toronto Medical School in 1966 and completed his Fellowship
Residency Training in Otolaryngology at the University
of Toronto. Immediately following this residency. Dr.
Ellis took a post-residency fellowship in Facial Plastic
and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Ellis opened his
initial practice in Toronto in 1973, which consisted of
private practice as well as being associated with the
teaching of Facial Plastic surgery at The University of
Toronto.
Dr. Ellis is Past President
of the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, Past
Canadian Vice President of The American Academy of Facial
Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and the Past President
and Secretary of The Canadian Society of Otolaryngology
- Head & Neck Surgery.
Dr. Ellis specializes
in Plastic, Cosmetic, and Reconstructive Surgery of the
face, head, and neck. Surgeries which include:
- rhinoplasty
- facelift
- blepharoplasty
- forehead lift
- liposuction of
the neck and jowls
- facial implants
- laser resurfacing
- scar revision
- otoplasty.
Reconstructive surgery
for skin malignancies, facial paralysis, and trauma are
also an integral part of his practice.
